There is no city sewer at Edgewater. Each homeowner is responsible for having a private septic system installed.
Even though having an aerobic septic system is required by the Tarrant Regional Water Authority, no single septic company is mandated by the HOA. However, the majority of homeowners have used Weaver Excavating and Septic.

Each home owner who is about to start to build their home must go to the USPS Kemp office to fill the necessary paperwork. There is no fee for this service.

- You will need to bring the deed to your property
- The post office will hold your mail until the mailbox is installed

There is no city gas at Edgewater. Each homeowner is responsible for having a private underground propane tank installed. Home propane service is optional.
No single propane company is mandated by the HOA. However, all of the homeowners that have chosen to have propane service so far have used United Propane.

There is no underground cable at Edgewater. Each homeowner is responsible for having their own services installed. TV services are optional.
Edgewater's residents can choose to have DirecTV, Dish Network, or any of the streaming services (YouTubeTV, Hulu, Netflix, SlingTV, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Fubo TV, Crackle, HBO Max, etc.).
They are responsible for payment of the monthly bills.
Trash pickup services are provided by Neighborhood Sanitation. Homeowners are responsible for contacting Neighborhood Sanitation to establish service in their own name. They are also responsible for payment of the quartely bills.
Please note that the polycart must be placed on the street (close to your driveway) no earlier than Wednesday afternoon, and picked up (and stored away in your garage) no later than Thursday evening.

Recycling and Heavy/Bulk Trash:
There is no recyclable or heavy/bulk trash pickup within Edgewater.
However, you can dispose of your heavy/bulk trash the first Saturday of every month at the Kemp Eco Station for free. You can dispose of your recyclables every Thursday-Saturday at the Kemp Eco Station for free as well.
